Want to open your mind, stretch out to life, manifest the best you can be? You think you really do! But if you are small minded, and fear the unknown you will never go that extra mile, learn that fad, understand a foreign culture, do that Bungee jump, take a trip to Kathmandu or reach for the sky. In other words your narrow minded thinking processes will ensure life is spent in front of the TV watching other people having fun.
But do you really want to pass the rest of your existence wondering “if only?” We think not, we guess you want to open our mind, open it to fabulous ways of perceiving reality. However mind opening is a step by step process, and you certainly cannot use a tin opener to roll back your skull to new ideas can you?
So to start opening your mind look at life from another point of view. Rather than blocking out what you don’t understand dig deeper until the perplexing becomes your new reality. For example if psychic issues seem a load of clap trap, start researching to acquire a deeper understanding of the metaphysical.
“Face the fear and do it anyway” they say. Well, fear is the most limiting emotion. Stand up to it! Climb that scary mountain, forge that stream, trek that jungle, take those Bach Flower remedies, for example Mimulus and Aspen to shift fear along and away.
Join a meditation or yoga course; limited risks will start the ball rolling. For example, instead of your usual caf latte of a morning, try an espresso, instead of the usual route to work, experiment new ways, instead of blowing up at a jealous colleague, take them out for lunch.
Get that you cannot always push life in your direction; it will just go on being itself even without you. Famous control freaks who found that out to their detriment were Howard Hughes, the famous millionaire who ended his life shut away in an apartment, growing his fingernails to sub human lengths, and the “mother of all control freaks” Adolf Hitler who came to a sticky end in an underground bunker.
Do not be afraid of opening your heart to another, if you love them tell them, try not to impose game playing, you know, doing “invisible” on Skype to keep them guessing, or not calling when you say you will.
Do not fear making mistakes, without the odd faux pas you would be a boring “goody goody” who never learns So when you create a boo boo, just say “yes I did it” and move on.
Be crystal clear about what it is you want to say. If you want to call it a day in a relationship don’t hedge around, tell it straight. If you hate your job walk out of it, you only limit yourself by staying!
So are you ready to open your mind to your very own infinite potential? If you are, expect life to become a proverbial miracle!
