If you were a psychic, and a member of Clairvoyance UK you would probably possess the gift of “seeing” or “hearing” spirit worlds.
Clairaudient mediums “listen” to the voices of angels, spirits and those who have passed on. Martin Luther King never claimed to be a medium but still he heard voices as “……. the presence of the Divine as I had never experienced before.”
Clairvoyance UK would understand both Martin Luther King and Anthony Hopkins. The wonderful actor told News of the World “I’ve always had a little voice in my head, particularly when I was younger and less assured…While onstage, during classical theatre the voice would suddenly say, “Oh, you think you can do Shakespeare, do you?”
“……. I was being interviewed on television and the voice inside my head said to me, “Who the hell do you think you are. You’re just an actor, what the hell do you know about anything”. The voice was picking on Anthony. So was he hearing the voice of a spirit, or a manifestation of his own lack of self esteem?
Brian Wilson of the renowned sixties pop group the Beach Boys also claimed he heard voices. He called them his auditory hallucinations.
John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers band alleged “I had just so many mental problems. It wasn’t until I was 28 that my brain actually felt like a spacious place. ….. my brain was just clogged all the time – non-stop voices. I couldn’t figure out what was going on.”
The great Robert Schumann (1810-1856) German composer and pianist was encouraged by voices to write his music. But one terrible night his wife claimed “The angel voices had turned into the voices of demons … they told Schuman he was a sinner and they planned to cast him into Hades, in short, his condition increased literally into one of nervous convulsions; he shrieked in pain (as he told me later, it took the form of tigers and hyenas tearing at him and trying to grab him) and the two doctors, who fortunately came in good time were hardly able to hold him. After about half an hour, he was less agitated and said friendlier voices could now be heard giving him encouragement.”
Not all voices are as negative as those heard by Schumann, Wilson and Hopkins. Doris Stokes, the world renowned medium, heard the loving voice of her guide, supposedly a Tibetan monk. Doris became one of the most beloved mediums in the world, she helped thousands connect to loved ones on the other side, she was both genuine and compassionate.
One might ask why esteemed spiritual leaders like Martin Luther King and Gandhi heard divine voices. yet the great composer Schumann heard demonic voices? What defines their diverse experience? Perhaps we will never know. We can only hope organisations like Clairvoyance UK will come up with solutions to an indefinable mystery.
