Will tarot card meanings ever become part of mainstream education? You might be justified in thinking this idea is a “pie in the sky” day dream, but a school in Boulder, Colorado, USA is currently offering psychic courses for kids who not only gaze into crystal balls but delight in learning how to scry, predict and learn tarot card meanings.
Stacia Synnestvedt teaches the classes. A loving grandma she is more than aware not all children possess “the gift”, but is convinced they can cultivate it. Five to ten year olds enjoy her classes, which are fun, inspiring and creative. They learn to access magical worlds via their own unique, open hearted imagination… Stacia believes her classes encourage kids to be themselves, they learn to understand others, and remain detached when faced with difficult emotions.
Stacia helps children connect to their true essence, their dreams and imagination via extrasensory perception. She teaches them to tune into their energy flow, and use their healing gifts too. They learn to ground themselves, as they call in light energy, and become “the observer” She said, “I don’t expect a 5-year-old to grasp all of this right away, but it’s like we’re planting a seed”.
She believes psychic classes for kids helps people become responsible for their lives. They learn to look inside of themselves; they learn to communicate deeply with others. “You start to peel away more layers of the stuff you pick up as you move into adulthood” she says.
In Stacia’s opinion, children are open to the psychic worlds because they have not been conditioned by society’s mores, and have clearer hearts and minds. She teaches small classes, at the most twelve students, and two of her own grandchildren attend each month. She says they get excited about the energy that comes through, so much so they are inspired to open out to telepathy and healing energies quite naturally.
She says “Kids don’t learn intuition, unless you have some exceptional teacher or an exceptional school. They need to learn to go with their gut. Our education system is failing a lot of these kids because they are not going to learn in the same way my generation did, or my children’s generation did.”
Imagining little kids tuning into tarot card meanings might seem odd, but to Stacia accessing ESP is the most natural thing in the world, and she believes everyone could learn it. She also believes it helps kids become more imaginative, inspired and resourceful, and she might be right.
