“I’ve been practicing Transcendental Meditation most of my life. I think that does something to your nervous system. It has given me a calmness I don’t think I had at 19.” – Jerry Seinfeld, Source: Philadelphia Inquirer
Peter, one of our psychics, discovered his paranormal gifts through meditation, just watching the ebb and flow of his breath would take him into deeper levels of relaxation and inner awareness. He started to have visions, sometimes of angels or deities, and then one day he opened his eyes and saw auras.
The fact is “birds do it, bees do it even education fleas do it”, and so does David Lynch, Hugh Jackman, Howard Stern, Russell Brand, Michael Jordan and his team mates, plus companies like Yahoo and Google. They all meditate; in fact one could say that they are addicted to meditation for success and happiness.
TM or Transcendental Mediation is renowned worldwide. Way back in the sixties George Harrison was a keen devotee of its creator, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. George stated at a Los Angeles press conference in the seventies, “each soul is potentially divine; the goal is to manifest the divinity. We’re all conditioned, our consciousness has been so polluted by the material energy it’s hard to try and pull it all ways in order to really discover our true nature. Every one of us has within us a drop of that ocean and we have the same qualities as God, just like a drop of the ocean has the same qualities as the whole ocean. Everybody’s looking for something and we are it. We don’t have to look anywhere – it’s right there within ourselves.”
The wonder of meditation is that it unites us with that “inner state” George was referring to, call it the Self, and when we access that Self we become both relaxed and energized, a wonderful combo for success.
Meditation defines our purpose, makes us compassionate and wise. We experience the presence of a divine being, we enhance our capacity to love, and enjoy life. We slow down our heart rate, reduce viral infection and stress, and relax our central nervous system. We become more intuitive, we develop will power.
Of course like all disciplines meditation needs consistency to work. We must set aside time for it, perhaps early in the morning. We could then burn some incense, and perhaps play soft, relaxing music in the background. After a while, our home will be imbued with positive vibes that others pick up on when they visit us.
There are many types of meditation to choose from. Should we go for Transcendental Meditation, or the in and out breath technique? Perhaps the walking meditation would serve us well? Perhaps the intense Vipassana mindfulness meditation will hold our attention? A spiritual adviser will help us define which meditation adheres to our personality. They are avid practitioners of self awareness techniques, including yoga and healing systems like Reiki and Matrix Energetics, and can sense what our needs are. So call them now; be sure that if you are looking for a focused spiritual technique that will enhance your life they are here to help you find it!
