We are not saying Leos and Scorpios always have a tendency to be Drama Queens, but they are likely players in the game. The game is played like this, when a Drama Queen goes to the movies she does not only watch it she actually believes she is a lookalike for Cate Blanchett, especially as she walks out into the foyer and expects heads to turn.
Drama queens, both male and female need an audience. So what do they do? They create one as they direct, produce and act in their very own production, and the play usually goes something like this.
Heroine gets caught up in incident, usually the world and his wife are playing dice with their lives, their livelihoods and their emotional well being. The bank negs their overdraft, their best friend turns on them, a colleague sneaks away with “their” promotion, etc. etc. End of Act One.
Act Two consists of “The Drama Queen Monologue”, usually quite long in which they demand their needs be met, and blame the world if they are not. Then it is exit right stage, which usually consists of tantrum type behaviour, plus commotion, with their audience hanging on a thread. So is the palaver over? Naaah wait for Act Three.
Act Three. You would expect our Drama Queen to have won through by now, gotten the prize at the end of the rainbow? But no, all she and we get is more of the same, which usually shows up as even more dramatic events that unfold throughout Act Four, Five, Six, Seven, etc.
The Drama Queen’s life is made of consistent issues, struggles, tragedies, misunderstandings, etc. In their opinion bad energies are out to get them. You will always find some nasty person in a Drama Queen’s life by the way, because the DQ is so beautiful and gifted, she is the victim of ignorant people who are jealous of her “specialness” etc.
Drama Queens are also entertaining and fun. They are great at parties and social gatherings. They perform well in front of audiences; they always rustle up an event that entertains everyone. But be aware a Drama Queen will want the attention on her. Her aim is to create a situation where everyone is revolving around her wise words, her on the spot insights, and her amazing decisions. When things go wrong, as they do, the Drama Queen will blame friends, husband, children, the dog, the cat, the pet hamster, in other words whatever is most convenient and to hand.
So why does a Drama Queen set up her dramas in the first place? Why does she continue to believe she is the most special yet unfortunate person in a film called “Life?” Usually these issues hark back to childhood, when someone important did not recognise her abilities, or did not have the time to listen to her. She could have been belittled at school and perhaps her Drama Queen attitudes began in an attempt to gain popularity and attention.
As time went on these attitudes became firmly ingrained in her character so much so, she cannot move through life without throwing a wobbly, things get boring otherwise. For a while that game works, because Drama Queens can be so lovely, charming and funny, but then something else kicks in, something sinister, something that demands fawning fans, and her” I am so right” attitudes tend to turn people away, in fact folks feel they cannot keep up with the DQ’s expectations, or stand up to her accusations and demands anymore, or even want to.
A Drama Queen’s life could end up lonely no matter how many “Enablers” she has around her. Enablers usually come in the form of stalwart admirers and friends who make huge allowances for her foibles. They are probably waiting for that great moment when their Drama Queen supports them too.
Unless a Drama Queen stops in her tracks after yet another tragedy, yet another misunderstanding, yet another disaster, and realises her life might be hard because she likes it that way, the theatrical production will continue and her audience will be you and me booing or applauding, depending on whether the interpretation is convincing enough! Yes, Drama Queens are interesting and fun, no doubt about it, but just sometimes we prefer to go to the movies to be entertained; real life drama can be sucks!
