Some people do not like free fortune telling sites. They think psychics will invade their personal space with weirdo thought projection techniques. If you are of that ilk, stop reading now. If you dig the metaphysical world however, read on, because you probably are one in a caste of thousands who loves free fortune telling sites; they intrigue with their articles fascinate with their special offers and excite with their predictions.
These days psychic sites are not about thought projection but esoteric information! For example, did you know that the Druids are not just a bunch of weird looking guys with long beards and strange overalls, but were into human sacrifice; in fact they also had a go at cannibalism in days gone by. The documentary “Secrets of the Druids” aired on the National Geographic Channel claims “Recent evidence that Druids possibly committed cannibalism and ritual human sacrifice-perhaps on a massive scale-add weight to ancient Roman accounts of Druidic savagery.”
The documentary insists that “After a first century B.C. visit to Britain, the Romans came back with horrific stories about the high-ranking Celt priests, who had spread throughout much of Europe over a roughly 2,000-year period.” Even Julius Caesar claimed that the Celts “believe that the gods delight in the slaughter of prisoners and criminals, and when the supply of captives runs short, they sacrifice even the innocent.”
As shocking as cutting the throats of harmless victims might have been, sacrificing a few slave girls to the Gods was not considered much cop in them “olden days”. Human kind has always strived to appease the Big Guys in the Sky. In fact it was not rare for a King’s court to follow their leader into the other dimensions. First dynasty Egyptian pharaohs (3100-2890 BC) were joined in the afterlife by their courtiers, handmaidens and grooms; lethal draughts of poison were taken en masse to facilitate the process in fact.
The Temple of Quetzalcoatl at Teotihuacan in Mexico still stands, and is beautiful to behold, but it might be troubling to remember children and teenagers were sacrificed there to the Sun God around AD 150. Rather than horrified, their parents considered the sacrifices a great honour for the family.
Rumour has it that human sacrifices still go on. London’s Metropolitan police recently discovered that an African cult was into human sacrifice. Anthropologists claim that suicide bombers are giving up their lives for a higher, spiritual cause. Most of us believe that we have to give up something bad to receive the good as per Lent. In fact, sacrifice is one of the columns of the Christian belief system; after all Jesus made the Ultimate Sacrifice for humanity.
Human begins are a strange lot, and yet the more you investigate free fortune telling sites the more you will discover why. You could even end up chatting to a psychic about your very own sacrificial feelings. So come on, could you really give up that cheese cake for the sake of a 23 inch waist?
